Biography

Roles and responsibilities: Caroline's role includes working to ensure strategic projects are delivered on schedule, providing support for strategic industry partnership events, coordinating intramural funding activities, and administrative oversight of the pilot platforms.

Caroline joined the UK DRI in 2019 having previously worked in the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College, London. Here she was PA to the Head of Department, organised large events, was heavily involved in organising the Practical Assessment of Clinical Examination Skills exams which formed part of the MBBS finals, and a surgery BSc module. At the UK DRI, Caroline was personal assistant to founding Institute Director Prof Bart De Strooper, then worked as a Core Team Coordinator in the operations team before moving to her current role as Strategic Project Coordinator in the Business and Innovation team.
